As Jimmy distributed the sandwiches he said to the crowd, “Oh, by the way, I should ask… raise your hand if you have a gluten allergy,” which was a set-up for a joke as he explained that he wanted America to see “which of their favorite celebrities are the most annoying.”
Jimmy Kimmel asked stars to raise their hands if they had a gluten allergy.
He then got a little more serious and said “Also, if you’re allergic to peanuts, uh, well… I guess this is goodbye, because we can only afford one EpiPen.”
The Allergy community appears to be divided on Jimmy Kimmel’s joke. Some are praising him for calling out Mylan’s extreme pricing practices.
