Foodfacts.com is proud to announce the development of our first iPhone Application that allows our subscribers to scan food products on their iPhone’s using our customized food scanner.
Once the products barcode is scanned using our foodfacts scanner, a product overview will appear on your iPhone. The overview will give the consumer information on what allergies the product contains, nutritional facts contained in the food, and our foodfacts.com Health Score.
Our Health Score is a scale that ranges from 0-100 and a color coding which allows our subscribers to quickly evaluate a food’s nutrition, vitamin’s and ingredients content, and to determine if that food is a healthful addition to his or her diet, without struggling to comprehend complex charts and ingredient lists.
The iPhone Application also allows our subscribers to search for specific products, to create Shopping lists, and to create an Avoid list which will alert the consumer when a specific allergy is contained in the food.
