My son had an allergic reaction to pecans on Christmas Eve 2014. Within 15 minutes of eating a pecan brownie he threw up & started getting hives all over & some face swelling & redness. We brought him to the ER and they said it was food allergies & to follow up with his Doctor & an allergist. He was diagnosed with a severe tree nut & sesame allergy & told to avoid peanuts also. (He has since been diagnosed with a Stevia allergy, which can lead to many more allergies.) I am not a medical expert in any way, shape or form. I'm just a mother trying to get a daily education on how I can keep my son safe & healthy.
