From our friends at AAFA New England:
Food Allergy Contest
Can you write a short poem that expresses the heart and soul of what we do to help make the world safer and life better for people with asthma and severe allergies? A foundation is offering a grant of $10,000 for the best four to eight line poem that reflects the work or mission of a non-profit organization.
Get inspired!
Share what is unique and important about how our education and advocacy make a difference to you.
The 4–8 line format is merely a guideline. Your poem can be longer or shorter, in any style you wish, rhyming or not. Please note, however, that very lengthy poems are less likely to be chosen as winners.
The winning poem will be made into a professionally written and recorded song by the Grammy Award-winning group The Original Blind Boys of Alabama.
Deadline: Friday, Jan. 4, 2013
Send your poem to: sharons@aafane.org.
Everyone who sends an entry will receive a gift from us!
P.S.
We hope you will include us in your year-end giving!
